With his trademark use of gentle curves and rounded bunkers, Palmer sculpted five par threes and five par fives into the course, creating many opportunities for heroics. The most challenging opportunity comes at the 532 yard, par 5 finishing hole, where the brave player can take a chance over the rock-lined lake, go for the green in two, and finish a memorable round with a birdie, or maybe even eagle! The 9th hole on this course was ranked the hardest Hole on the PGA TOUR (1994), based on players stroke average during the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic.
