PGA West Country Club Jack Nicklaus  in La Quinta

PGA West is master planned country club designed as a recreational resort development and established in 1984. Residents have access to six golf courses (including the new Greg Norman course), three clubhouses, health and racquet club and multiple social activities.

This trademark Nicklaus design features terraced fairways and target greens complemented by the unique desert terrain. Nowhere is the Nicklaus look more evident than on the dramatic 2nd hole, a 406 yard, par 4, where the view of the green from the fairway shelf is nearly obscured by a mammoth boulder that sits on the front edge of the green. Every hole on the demanding Jack Nicklaus Tournament Course requires its own unique strategy; especially the 561 yard, par 5 15th, which culminates with a shallow and well-bunkered island green. To complete your golf day you can experience a dramatic water-crossing shot to the signature 9th and 18th double green.
