The Lakes Country Club is a private club on 380 acres, with 902 condominium homes and is located off Country Club Drive between Cook Street and Eldorado Drive in Palm Desert. Along with views from each condominium, there is access to 48 crystal swimming pools and spas.
Membership is available through property ownership only.

All owners pay $160/month social dues plus homeowner's dues of $580 adn cable TV charge of $31 for a total of $771/monthly. This pays for the landscape, road adn facilities maintenance, 24 hour security including the home electronic security, building insurance, exterior and roof maintenance, building earthquake insurance, and daily trash pick up.
There is a $700 minimum food and beverage to be used exclusively in the Mountain VIew Dining Room or Longhorn Lounge between Novermber 1 and May31. New Homeowners are required to pay a Reserve Replenishment Fee of $5,220 which is equal to nine month dues. The club has no debt.
Golf : one time Golf Activation Fee $10,000 and monthly dues of $400. Only one golf membership per unit is allowed.
